SEC Climate Disclosure Key Dates

The final rules will be phased in for all registrants with the compliance date dependent upon the status of the registrant as an LAF, an AF, or non-accelerated filer (NAF), smaller reporting company (SRC), or emerging growth company (EGC).

  • LAF
    2026: Narrative Disclosure and Financial Statements based on 2025 data
    2027: Scope 1 and 2 Metrics based on 2026 data

  • AF
    2027: Narrative Disclosure and Financial Statements based on 2026 data
    2029: Scope 1 and 2 Metrics based on 2028 data

  • Others
    2028: Narrative Disclosure and Financial Statements based on 2027 data
